As part of the registration process for the Open Society Foundations Reviewer Communities Portal you have provided your name and contact details. The Open Society Foundations (Open Society Institute in New York, OSF Services Berlin GmbH, and other offices (details can be found at https://www.opensocietyfoundations.org/about/offices-foundations) will use this personal data to manage your access to the portal.


Legal basis

The legal basis on which we process your data is that we have a contract with you, where applicable, or our legitimate interest in us doing so. Our legitimate interests include administering the Open Society Foundations, delivering our grant making, and management of our programmatic work.

Open Society Foundations may need to share the personal data submitted as part of the registration process with third parties but only for the above purposes, e.g., a cloud service provider hosting the portal. We are in the process of reviewing our retention periods and will publish those, once available, on our website. In general, we retain personal data only for as long as required to carry out the purpose it was collected for—in this case, maintaining your access to the portal.
